The film stars Vidya opposite Arshad Warsi and Naseeruddin Shah. Vidya's role in the film has a few grey shades and she is supposed to fool the uncle-nephew duo of Naseer and Arshad in it.
shkiyaan is produced by Vishal Bharadwaj and directed by his assistant director Abhishek Chaubey.

Vidya to shoot for Ishqiya

Besides being directed by Bhardwaj, Vidya Balan is excited about sharing screen space with Naseeruddin Shah. “It’s going to be so much fun. And a great learning experience too,” she tells us. “We’ve attended workshops for our roles in the film conducted by Naseeruddin Shah himself. They were so good...,” Vidya adds.
